Injury Prevention

All athletes are not created equal, nor are the demands of their sports the same. Even within the same sport, demands of different events or positions on the playing field can vary tremendously.

With each different athlete comes a different challenge and a different risk for injury. Train your body for the specific demands of what you will see on the field.

Sports-specific training programs are designed to enhance an athlete's strength balance, proprioception, agility and power to prevent injuries from overtraining, sports trauma, poor training technique and/or faulty biomechanics, to name a few.

Preventive interventions also include:

  • Taping procedures
  • Orthotic bracing
  • Nutrition/supplementation programs
  • Massage techniques
  • Stretching programs
