Verde Valley Medical Center

Verde Valley Medical Center is a full-service nonprofit hospital in Cottonwood with 99 acute care beds and 11 behavioral health beds. Three other locations serve the Verde Valley Clinic locations in SedonaCamp Verde, Cottonwood and the Village of Oak Creek.

On Tuesday, May 13, Northern Arizona Healthcare hosted an open house at Cliff Castle Casino regarding plans for the future Camp Verde campus. About 75 Camp Verde residents attended to hear from Verde Valley Medical Center President and CEO and Northern Arizona Healthcare Executive Vice President Barb Dember; NAH Vice President of Professional and Support Services Rick Peterson; and NAH Vice President of Physician Group and Cardiovascular Services Chris Clarke.
I might be 44, but I think of myself as younger than my age. Weeks after having strep throat, I still just didn't feel right. I had no energy and I could feel my heartbeat go from slow to extremely fast. At times, I had an overwhelming feeling of tightness in my chest that made it difficult to breathe, almost like I was being strangled. This feeling would sometimes last for hours and there were times I even fainted without warning.
Flagstaff Medical Center’s Bariatric Surgical Weight Loss Center hosts information sessions at 6 p.m. the second Tuesday of every month. For only sixty minutes of your time you can learn whether a surgical solution could ease your weight concerns. Sessions held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Flagstaff.
